Image Masking and Raster to Vector conversion in Photoshop

Image masking is one of the most used services for the model photography or images. Here all the products which are semi-transparent are used to complete the shapes and editing process to make the image look good enough. Images are worked under Photoshop where the images are altered with the tools and techniques that improve the image quality. Those who have no idea on the image masking for them it can be explained as the transition objects to edited to make the surface of the objects smoother. It has the same working process an advantage as the clipping path because both of the technique does the same work by cutting out the image background and replacing with the new.

Image masking is the process which draws lines against the object to make the separation of the image background and the product or the object. Semi-transparent can be anything here like the hair, fur, glass, smooth cloths, shiny objects, and many others. Most of the images need image masking to keep the smoothness of the image perfect. The smoothness of the image is kept amazing. It keeps the smoothness as is. No changes are done.

Lasso tool can be very handy here to cut out the background and add the new background. The main idea of masking is to keep the smoothness of the object and to cut out the background as clipping leaves harsh edges which ruin the look of the semi-transparent objects. Removing background is important as the moving of the files makes the image background look dull and the image even duller and so the image background is changed, either with the clipping path or with the masking both do the same work to cut the background and add a new background. The whole process of cutting out the background and adding new layers are known as background removal. Unlocking of the layers is foremost work of Photoshop and then the other works are started. Adding a new background is another way of cutting out the odds. You can add background as you desire but you should always remember to keep the background as it shouldn’t eat up the product and make itself the focus of the image. The purpose of the remove background is to make the product the subject of the image and so the background is selected on the opposite color of the product.

Raster to vector conversion is needed to edit the images with the proper editing services. Firstly the image is converted to a vector image so that the image becomes more flexible to edit and alter to form a new improved image. Raster formats are like JPG, PNG all the image reading that can be seen with the image openers, vector images are captured by the camera and scanner and all others which have different format images. They can be all used by the image processing options to make the image look better. After editing images, they are all converted back to the raster form to upload. Both the processes are needed to create image editing perfectly.
